2019 WLD Qualifying – Ak-Chin

FIRST, YOU HAVE TO QUALIFY

On a grid created just for World Long Drive, there will be some big drives in the Arizona desert at Ak-Chin Circle Field. The Ak-Chin Qualifier will reward the top finishers with Official World Long Drive Ranking points and exemptions into the Volvik World Long Drive Championship at WinStar World Casino & Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma.

EVENT FORMAT

Qualifying events feature two days of qualifying followed by a Final Qualifier on each of those days. Each day of Preliminary Qualifying will feature four qualification events per the times listed above. Each preliminary event will produce four different winners. Those four, will advance to the Final Qualifier held that day. The Final Qualifier consists of 16 competitors that advanced from the Preliminary Qualifiers, whom will compete in a five set point format. The top three hitters advance to the field for the 2019 Volvik World Long Drive Championship at WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma. The same process is repeated on Day 2 for Preliminary and Final Qualifying.

REGISTRATION

Pre-registering online will reserve and guarantee you a position in one of the Preliminary Qualifiers. Players can show up and pay onsite as long as space is available and time permits, but registering online will reserve you a spot in the qualifier of your choice. If time and space permits, players are encouraged to register onsite for additional tries. Competitors that fail to advance at the preliminary or final qualifying level are eligible to compete in multiple Qualifying Events.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Preliminary and Final Qualifying: Each entry fee must be paid by every player. Entry fee for preliminary ($40) /final ($190) qualifying will not be refunded at any time.

TRAVEL

Hitters are responsible for all travel logistics and accommodations surrounding Qualifying Events.
