Day 2 of the Bash for Cash on Saturday presented a chance for three additional names to be added to the 2018 Volvik World Long Drive Championship field in September.
Branden Shipley, Dwight Riddle and Ben Tuaone each advanced through the morning’s preliminary qualifying and were left standing amongst those having advanced to final qualifying in the afternoon.
“This was my second qualifier of the year,” said Shipley. “I came up short in Memphis, so it felt good to [advance] today.”
Saturday afternoon also included the Bash for Cash Tour event qualifier, where 16 competitors battled for five spots into Sunday’s Tour event.
Kyle Blakely, Chris Deason, Jay Millinick, Ben Raymond and Dwight Riddle each claimed a spot into tomorrow’s 36-man field, with competition getting underway at 9 a.m. ET.
