This weekend in Memphis marked the second Qualifying Event in as many weeks, with six spots up for grabs into the 2019 Volvik World Long Drive Championship.
Day 1 on Friday saw a trio of familiar hitters cement their return to WinStar World Casino and Resort later this year, with Bobby Bradley, Mitch Dobbyn, and Trent Scruggs earning an exemption into the field.
On Saturday, Joshua Koch claimed the first of the three remaining spots, and was joined by John Buck and Travis Eakin. Eakin also blasted the longest ball of Saturday’s Final Qualifying with a 360-yard drive.
The next Volvik World Long Drive Championship Qualifier will take place Friday-Saturday, April 12-13 in Maricopa, Ariz., in conjunction with the first Tour event of the season: the Ak-Chin Smash in the Sun.
