Event Format

Qualifying events are promoted as “Long Drive Weekends” each featuring two days of qualifying events followed by a Final Qualifier on each of those days. Each day of Preliminary Qualifying will feature 4 qualification events as per the times listed above. Each preliminary qualifying event will produce four different winners and those competitors will advance to the Final Qualifier held that day as per the time specified above. The Final Qualifier consists of 16 competitors that advanced from the Preliminary Qualifiers whom will compete in compete in a five set point format. The top 3 hitters advance to the field of the 2018 Volvik World Long Drive Championship. The same process is repeated on Day 2 for Preliminary and Final Qualifying.

Pre-registering online will reserve and guarantee you a position in one of the Preliminary Qualifiers. Players can show up and pay onsite as long as space is available and time permits, but registering online will reserve you a spot in the qualifier of your choice. If time and space permits, players are encouraged to register onsite for additional tries. Competitors that fail to advance at the preliminary or final qualifying level are eligible to compete in multiple Qualifying Events.

Cancellation Policy

Preliminary and Final Qualifying: Each entry fee must be paid by every player. Entry fee for preliminary ($40) /final ($190) qualifying will not be refunded at any time.
