Rankings Update Presented by Rugiet - September 2026

The latest WLD Official World Rankings are here. Below is a look at the biggest movement across the Open Elite, Senior, Women's, and Rise Divisions, plus where every top ten player stands as we count down to the 2026 World Long Drive Championship presented by Caesars Entertainment in Reno, Nevada this October 15th–17th at Wildcreek Golf Course.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Open Elite Division

• Colton Casto climbs to World No. 3

• James Tait (LDET) makes a big jump to World No. 5

• Cody Billinghurst climbs to World No. 7

• Roni Shin re-enters the top ten at World No. 10

  • Jack Smith drops out of the top ten

Elite Division note: Zack Holton and Scottie Pearman have been trading the top spot as older results age out of the rolling ranking window, it's the nature of a points system built on recent performance. Both have been the class of the division all year, and expect this one to keep flip-flopping all the way to the Championship, Pearman has been a fixture at the top all year.

The Senior Division was the lone division with zero movement this cycle, every spot held exactly where it stood last update.

How the WLD Official World Ranking System Works:

The WLD Official World Ranking is a system for rating the performance level of long drive players. The rankings are based on a player's position in WLD sanctioned individual long drive competitions (i.e. not pairs or team events) over a "rolling" two-year period. New rankings are calculated after each event.

Ranking Points are maintained at full value for a 12-month period from the relevant Ranking Date on which they were awarded to place additional emphasis on recent performances. Ranking Points are then reduced by 50% for the remaining 12 months of the relevant Ranking Period.

At the conclusion of the 24 month period (104 weeks) of the relevant Ranking Period, points are removed from the player's tally.
