WELLINGTON, FL (Jun. 13, 2026) - The Pinnacle World Long Drive Tour brought the power

back to South Florida as competitors gathered at the National Polo Center in Wellington for WLD Palm Beach for the second time in 2026.

With valuable ranking points and World Championship qualification spots on the line, athletes battled through two days of competition in challenging conditions and delivered some of the longest drives of the year.

In the Open Division, Sean Johnson emerged as champion, continuing his impressive run of form with a dominant performance throughout bracket play. Johnson showcased both power and consistency, highlighted by the top performance bonus total of 1,889 yards in the Final 16 round. His victory further cements his status as one of the premier competitors on the World Long Drive Tour.

The Senior Division title went to Ryan Ehlers, who captured the championship after a strong week of competition against a talented field. Ehlers' victory adds another impressive accomplishment to an already distinguished long drive career.

Beyond the championship divisions, several athletes secured their spots in the upcoming WLD World Championship through regional qualification. Ryan Frost, Logan Schott, Erick Leber, Damyon Dooley, Patrick Raber, and Nick DiLeo all punched their tickets to the season-ending championship event with standout performances in Palm Beach.

In addition to his victory, Johnson recorded the longest ball of the competition at 416 yards followed by Connor Sterritt  at 414 yards. Jacob Golliday led the field in total balls in the grid during the Final 16. The depth of talent on display throughout the weekend demonstrated just how competitive the race toward the World Championships has become.

The Pinnacle World Long Drive Tour extends its gratitude to the National Polo Center, event partners, volunteers, staff, and fans who helped make WLD Palm Beach a tremendous success.

With another championship awarded and additional World Championship spots secured, the road to Reno continues, and if Palm Beach was any indication, the best is yet to come.
