World No. 6 Bryce Verplank aims to defend WLD Port Rowan title from 2023
PORT ROWAN, Ontario (July 3, 2024) - The 2024 World Long Drive (WLD) season continues with WLD Port Rowan, held July 5-7 at Stark's Golf Course in Port Rowan, Ontario. The event will feature 48 players in the Open Division, 16 players in the Amateur Division presented by Speed Toad, and 13 players in the Senior Division.

At the most recent WLD tour stop (WLD Endless Summer), world No. 9 Scottie Pearman captured his first win since 2021 with a 392-yard drive in the final. Pearman’s longest drive of the event was 406 yards.
Last year’s WLD Port Rowan event was highlighted by Bryce Verplank (world No. 6) capturing his first career win. He finished with a longest drive of 429 yards. The Senior Division was won by Ontario’s Jeff Gavin; he outlasted David Mobley 364 yards to 363 yards. Andrew Eigner, competing in the Open Division this season, won his second amateur event of 2023 in Port Rowan.
